Abstract
A new method to eliminate the background in the 6Li spectrometry
technique is discussed and applied. The method is based on a simuItaneous
analysis of the stopping power and the energy of the emitted α and triton
particles. This direct background elimination technique is tested in the
MOL fast assembly.
