Abstract
The spectrum measurements in Bigten [ 0] were used to analyse
important characteristics of the 6Li spectrometry technique, including the Et and Eα + Et parameter.
After a short description of the fundamentals necessary before applying the technique, attention is drawn to the parameters to be carefully determined before and during the measurement. Sensitivity tests on some of these
parameters are illustrated, making use of the experimental Bigten results and their interpretation.
Finally the neutron spectrum, measured between ~5 keV and 7 MeV, is compared with the theoretical spectrum.
