Abstract
A systematic study on irradiation induced lattice expansion and subsequent lattice relaxation by post-irradiation annealing was reported. The XRD observations were accompanied by electron-energy loss spectroscopy experiments in TEM. It was concluded that the lattice relaxation upon annealing is likely due annihilation of O vacancies but also due to annihilation of irradiation damage.
