    Abstract

This presentation summarized the main results from the Monte Carlo simulations for the PDET detector (Partial Defect Tester) to BWR fuel assemblies. The first part of the presentaion explains the concept of the detector, together with the models for the fuel assembly, storage rack, and fuel composition. The second part of the presentation shows the results from the MCNP simulations considering the case of a uniform storage rack (i.e. fuel with same composition and source term) and with a generic pattern.
