title = "Back analysis of permeability parameters in Boom clay",
abstract = "The permeability sealing and self-healing models for Boom clay are developed to describe the time evolution law of permeability in EdZ (Excavation disturbed Zone) due to excavation and lining. A new approach is programmed on the basis of hydro-mechanical coupled model and back analysis has been done according to field measurements of pore water pressure with time. The achievements show that the permeability of Boom clay is in the order of 10-12 m/s. The back analysis results of permeability parameters can be used to study the hydro-mechanical behavior of Boom clay in long-term stability analysis.",
