Abstract
This study looks at the dose-dependent effects of beta radiation from 90Sr on Arabidopsis thaliana. This of primary importance, as effects of radiation on non-human biota are not well known. The results of the work show that there is a dose-dependent effect of beta radiation on plant growth and DNA damage (base modification).
