Abstract
Some characteristics of the beams Issued from the T7 (tangential) and R3 (radial) channels were studied, at a low reactor power (about 10 W ).
The following points were measured .
- absolute neutron intensity
- approximate neutron spectrum
- gamma doses
- optimum position of the source In the T7 channel.
From these results, the expected performances at the normal power level of BR2 ( i.e. about 50 MW ) are deduced.
