Abstract
This report gives the preliminary results obtained in safeguards experiment carried out In the Eurochemic reprocessing plant as a joint undertaking in the scope of the association for safeguards ESAROA, and with collaboation of other organizations (ACDA, SANA, ENEL, EUROCHEMIC, GENERAL ELECTRIC, I.A.E.A.).
The main goal of this experiment is to gain more practical experience in the application of isotopic safeguards techniques. While most of the effort until now has been devoted to heavy isotopes and destructive analysis, a particular feature of the present experience is that correlations are being investigated among fission products and through nondestructive measurements as well. This report comprises two contributions on heavy Isotopes correlations and four contributions on fission product correlation, Including fission gases. One additional paper deals with the determination of the uranium concentration in dissolver input solutions by the density-moIarity method.
