Abstract
Electrochemical corrosion experiments on aluminium, zirconium, titanium, niobium, Zircaloy-2 and steels have been conducted in-pile and after pile irradiation. It was found that the passivating propertes of the oxide
film formed in-pile on pure aluminium in aqueous solutions are improved
by piIe irradiation.
Potentiodynamic experiments on steel 316L and 304 and on
platinum showed that the potentiaI electric current curves are changed by pile irradiation.
