title = "Data collection forms for long-term safety assessment: Annex 2: Geosphere",
abstract = "During the current project phase of the disposal of category A waste – short-lived low and intermediate level radioactive waste – ONDRAF/NIRAS must, following the governmental decision of 23 June 2006, develop a near surface disposal facility in Dessel, which is based on the near surface facility design developed by the STOLA-Dessel partnership during the previous preliminary project phase. The present report, “Data collection forms for long-term safety assessment – Annex 3: Biosphere Project near surface disposal of category A waste at Dessel”, is an integral part of the discussions between ONDRAF/NIRAS and the regulatory body FANC (Federal Agency for Nuclear Control) aimed at informing and asking advice of the latter about the models and codes used for dimensioning the repository and assessing its radiological safety (NIRAS-MP5-01). Specifically, this report NIROND-TR 2008–22 E is submitted to the FANC as part of the qualification file for models and codes used in long-term radiological safety assessments (denoted NIRAS-MP5-01 DATA – LT).",
