N2 - The Ing104 and Inm104 nuclei have been produced by means of the following reactions: Cd106(p,3n), Mo92(14N,2n), Mo92(16O,p3n), Mo92(20Ne,3p5n). Their decay has been investigated after mass separation. From + and x direct spectra and - T, -x-T, and - T coincidences, a Cd104 level scheme has been constructed. The observation of an intense background of statistical rays, emitted after strong decay to high energy levels, resolves the problems of previously published work concerning -ray intensities, spin determinations, and QEC values.
