N2 - This paper describes the development of a specialised quadrature routine, the Gauss-Chandrasekhar quadrature, and its implementation in the Boundary Source Code CASE. This quadrature routine takes into account the special form of the integrand needed in the calculation of the angular moments of the Green's function of the transport operator. As a result the needed integrals can be calculated much faster, resulting in a general speed-up of the boundary source code.
