Abstract
This contribution summarizes the main work on the development of the reference spent fuel library. The first part of the article explains the main characteristics of the spent fuel and the parameters used in the fuel library. The main part of the article deals with the neutron emissions coming from the fuel assemblies. Several parameters are considered in the study (e.g. burnup, cooling time, boron in the water, water gap during irradiation, data library used in the calculations). Finally the spent fuel library is compared with a similar work done by Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) using similar conditions.
