Abstract
Fringe patterns have been observed by electron microscopy in annealed niobium. The fringe patterns are interpreted as boundaries between ordered domains. The domains should arise from ordering of interstitial atoms, most probably oxygen. Electron diffraction data and the presence of superlattice dislocations support this interpretation.
