Abstract
Male mice were given local irradiation over the testes, half of each group receiving AET before Irradiation. Males were mated with virgïn females for 7-days periods, the first, second, and seventh weeks after exposure. These periods correspond to Irradiation of spermatozoa, spermatids, and spermatocytes, respectively. The females were dissected on the seventeenth day after the beginning of the mating, and the corpora lutea and live and dead embryos were counted.
AET by itself slightly reduced fertility, but It also decreasedthe preimpIantation loss from treated spermatogonia.
