The testes of hybrid mice ( CBA x C57BI ) were irradiated with 1368 r of X-rays. Half of the animals received an intraperitoneal injection of 8 mg of AET before irradlation. Each week, 5 males of each group were sacrificed. Histologoical examination of the testes and the epididymus showed that AET is able to protect to some extent, against testicle damage induced by X-rays.
