    Abstract

Electrical conductivity measurements between 90 and 800°K have been performed on single crystals with composition U02.000 - U02.007. The activation energy decreases from 0.34 to 0.19 eV with increasing excess oxygen content . Hall effect measurements have yielded no measurable response (Hall mobility µH < 0.015 cm² V-1 s-1 at 300° K). The results can be interpreted on the basis of small polaron theory.
