    Abstract

This thesis focuses on estimating the radioactive isotope yield that could be produced at the future ISOL@MYRRHA facility in Belgium, which is based on the Isotope Separation On-Line (ISOL) technique. Due to the current lack of experimental data of this facility, a methodology was developed using experimental results from the TRIUMF facility in Canada as a reference. A Python-base calculation tool was created to estimate system efficiencies and radioisotope yield, incorporating statistical treatment, simulation data, and curve fitting. Cesium and radium isotopes were used as case studies to assess different weighting methods (based on uncertainty, isotope half-life, and uniform weights). The study demonstrates that even small methodological choices can significantly affect the final predictions. The resulting estimates are preliminary and reflect the assumptions made, but the proposed framework provides a foundation for future yield studies once measurements become available. Additionally, a prototype web-based platform was developed to enhance accessibility for the scientific community.
