Abstract
The histological and cytological localization of elements soluble
in water necessitates the use of special methods of fixation. Our study compares
the techniques of freeze-drying, freeze-substitution and cryostat and
also deals with various modifications applicable to histoautoradiography.
Our investigation pertains to the localization of the elements 45Ca, 89Sr,
226Ra present in soluble form in Pisum sativum.
