Abstract

The amounts of heavy nuclides from uranium 234 to curium 245 in the BR2 fuel elements during and after irradiation have been estimated.
Two typical irradiation cycles in the BR2 have been considered. Calculation methods and assumptions concerning the effective cross-sections of the heavy nuclides in the BR2 are exposed.
