Fast burner reactor devoted to minor actinide incineration

Abstract

In this study, it was proved that a design of a uranium-free reactor dedicated to a massive minor actinide (MA) transmutation is possible and attractive from the viewpoint of safety parameters and transmutation performances. The MA incinerator fast reactor will be integrated into a nuclear park.
