    Abstract

The IRFUMA-5M irradiation campaign was the follow-up of the different IRFUMA experiments (IRFUMA-I, IRFUMA-II, IRFUMA-III and IRFUMA-IV); the acronym stands for IRradiation of FUsion MAterials. The IRFUMA-5M experiment consisted of three irradiation cycles in the Belgian Reactor 2 (BR2) of SCK•CEN in Mol. The "M" after the number refers to the fact that this experiment, unlike all the previous IRFUMA campaigns which used the CALLISTO rig, used a different irradiation device denominated MISTRAL (see description below). All the IRFUMA experiments are devoted to materials for Fusion applications, mainly RAFM (Reduced Activation Ferritic/Martensitic) steels, also in ODS (Oxide Dispersion Strengthened) form. The IRFUMA-5M irradiation, spanning from the third to the fifth cycle of 2006 (03 05/2006), started on June 27, 2006 and finished on November 14, 2006. The publication and distribution of this report officially closes the sub-task TW5-TTMS-006 Deliverable 6.
