Abstract
R. DE Ridder A kinematical scattered beam emerging from a foil containing a coherent domain boundary shows a fine structure which is analysed on the basis of the two‐beam kinematical theory [7]. First, the wave function of a kinematical beam at the exit surface is deduced and a physical interpretation is given. The fine structure of the beam is derived by applying the Fourier‐transformation method outlined in previous papers [1 to 4]. The geometry of the fine structure is analysed and the intensity behaviour of the satellites discussed taking anomalous absorption into account. Finally, the relation between the constituent beams and the fringe pattern is emphasized and the origin of the several satellites is demonstrated by a dispersion surface construction.
