Abstract

Fission widths of ²³⁶U neutron resonances have been determined in the energy range between 5.45 and 415 eV. They show small variations in this range and have an average of 〈Γ_f〉 = 0.35 meV. Consequences of these results on fission barrier parameters of ²³⁷U are discussed.
