    Abstract

Fission widths of 236U neutron resonances have been determined in the energy range between 5.45 and 415 eV. They show small variations in this range and have an average of 〈Γf〉 = 0.35 meV. Consequences of these results on fission barrier parameters of 237U are discussed.
