Form factor for inelastic electron scattering from the 4.43-MeV level in 12C

    Abstract

    The inelastic form factor for electron scattering from the 4.43-MeV level in 12C is calculated, using the wave functions obtained from a Projected Hartree-Fock calculation. There is a considerable enhancement compared with the predictions from the simple shell-model. The agreement with experiment is good for not too large values of the momentum transfer.
