    Abstract

The SCK CEN Academy, a transversal group within the Belgian Nuclear Research Centre (SCK CEN), plays a vital role in training future nuclear professionals through high quality programmes and international collaboration. Gathering more than 70 years of expertise, the SCK CEN Academy takes it as it’s mission to guide young scientists, organise academic education programmes and courses tailored to professionals, offer policy support in terms of nuclear education and care for critical intellectual capacities (SCK CEN, s.a.). To remain competitive and effective, the Academy must continually improve its internal quality systems, especially those supporting trainers. Therefore, the thesis investigates how to enhance trainer support and course delivery, with a focus on implementing Canvas as a potential solution for improving communication, structuring outcomes, and managing assessments. The study also analyses past customer data, participant feedback, and trainer input to identify areas of success and improvement, ultimately aiming to strengthen the overall quality and impact of the Academy’s educational offering.
