Abstract
Teaching performance evaluation and many preference decisions are often made in groups, and always require considering multiple criteria under a hierarchy
structure. T the same time, the evaluation processes often involve uncertainty and fuzziness in both the description of criteria and the judgments of evaluators. This paper presents a linguistic term based hybrid two-level fuzzy multi-criteria
group decision making method as a systematic means of supporting preference based evaluation and decision. It further gives an application of comprehensive teaching performance evaluation with six aspects and over fifth criteria in practice.
