title = "Gamma dose assessment in near-range atmospheric dispersion simulations",
abstract = "This work aims at implementing a gamma dose model in OpenFOAM, an open source CFD software package written in C++. OpenFOAM has an extensive range of features which allow to solve complex fluid flows and pollutant dispersion (among others). The gamma dose model computes the dose rate at given locations based on dose-point-kernel approximation using a distributed simulated pollutant concentration as input. Combining the gamma dose model with the CFD packages allows to perform gamma dose assessments in near-range atmospheric dispersion simulations.",
