    Abstract

Much information is expressed by natural languages. The management of linguistic information implies the use of operators of comparison and aggregation. Based on the Ordered Weighted Averaging (OWA) operator by Yager and modifying indexes of linguistic terms (their indexes are fuzzy numbers on [0,T]), a new linguistic weighted averaging operator (Flwa) is proposed. Moreover from the distributed intelligent agent architecture on the Internet, information flows are discussed. By using the operator Flwa, a new method of gathering linguistic weighted information on the Internet is presented.
