Abstract
The O‐lattice is a mathematical tool for the determination of CSL. It is modified in order to allow an analytical determination of the vectors of a CSL as well as the DSC lattice. This concept can be applied to all crystal systems. It is more specially developed to the hexagonal system. Since the CSL (or a multiple of the CSL) unit cell is a known multiple of the modified O‐lattice unit cell, the CSL can be determined. An identical procedure is also developed for the DSC lattice.
