    Abstract

We investigate the combined effects of γ-rays (300 kGy) and high temperatures (250°C) on the performances of regenerated Fiber Bragg Gratings. These gratings were inscribed with a KrF laser and a phase mask in Ge-doped fiber and regenerated at ~750°C. Such irradiation conditions induce a shift of their Bragg wavelengths of less than 20 pm (equivalent to a temperature error of 2°C).
