    Abstract

    This article reports on the R+D work of Laborelec, particularly on destructive and non-destructive tests, repairs to steam generator pipes, safety investigations and monitoring techniques. The R+D work of SCK/CEN comprises the monitoring of the steel for reactor pressurised vessels, the high flux reactor BR2, the shutdown of the BR3 reactor and the final storage of radioactive waste in layers of clay. 1 fig
