Abstract

The main objective of the EURAD project ACED (Assessment of Chemical Evolution of ILW and HLW Disposal Cells) is to improve methodologies to obtain multi-scale quantitative models for the description of the chemical evolution at the disposal cell scale and to derive robust mathematical models including the most relevant processes. The subtask 3.1 concerns the first upscaling step from the relatively isolated processes at interfaces to repository sub-systems, representative for HL waste packages, where chemical and physical processes might be closely intertwined. This deliverable gives a first overview of information already available about existing or currently running experiments.
