Abstract

Incorporation of ³H-phenylalanine into serum proteins by the perfused liver of normal and irradiated rats was studied Changes with time in total radioactivity of phenylaIanine and in bIood were the same in both groups. Incorporation into α₁- and β-globulins was increased and incorporation into albumin decreased slightly in the irradiated liver. Synthesis of prealbumin and α₂-globulins was not significantly changed.
