Abstract
Eight or seventeen days old male and female rats with or without AET protection have been irradiated with 50, 150, 300 and 500 r X-ray doses Their fertility has been followed till the age of 200 days.
From our observations results that
1. The adult female rats irradiated 8 days after birth, are less fertile
than the specimens irradiated at 17 days,
2. This difference of radiosensibiIity is less evident in the case of
male rats
3- AET has an evident protective effect on the fertility of both male
and female rats whatever the age at the irradiation and the dose may
