Abstract
The pH effect has been studied on the gamma-rays sensitivity of Clostridium sporogenes P. A. 3679.
The results suggest a probable pH action which would act varying the
relative stability of the biological sites sensitive to the reactions induced
by the radiations.
Furthermore a possible radioprotection of spores has been supposed by
inorganic phosphates of the buffer solutions used.
