Abstract

lodine-131 and colloidal preparations of gold-198 remain for the producer of radioeIements, amongst the most important and most called for isotopes. This Is due to the widespread use of iodine-131 for thyroïdal diagnostics and treatments, as well as to the importance it has in the form of various compounds such as serum albumin, Rose, Bengal, oleic acid, trioleine, etc...
On the other hand, intrapleural or intraperitoneal injections of radioactive colloïdal gold is a technique that has become classic in the treatment of pleuresy and neoplasic ascites.
