    Abstract

Since many people can now recieve small or high doses of irradiation from their occupation or from medical treatments, the problem of radiation protection against genetic and embryologic damage is more and more important.
These experiments showed that Chemical compounds, such as cysteamine
and AET, given prior to irradiation, can offer some genetic as welI as embryologic
protection. NevertheIess, the secondary effects of these compounds are unknown so that they can not be administrated to peole for the moment.
