Letter to the editor. This is a critical review of a paper of Feinendegen et al. on the complex biological response after exposure to low dose radiation. ‘The balance between health risk and benefit of low level radiation of an individual . The paper contains a lot of interesting information but the general idea remains highly questionable. I have selected some extracts from the paper, followed by my comments in italics.
