    Abstract

This book will present intelligent information processing theory and methods based on linguistic values. Main contents will include: 2-tuple model of linguistic values, 2-tuple linguistic aggregation operator, hedge algebras, complete hedge algebras and linguistic value reasoning, reasoning with linguistic quantifiers, linguistic reasoning based on a random set, fuzzy numbers model of linguistic values, linguistic values aggregation based on fuzzy numbers model, extracting linguistic proposition from database and handling linguistic information on internet, linguistic truth values lattice implication algebras, linguistic truth values resolution automatic reasoning, linguistic truth values reasoning based on lattice implication algebra, and related applications in decision making and forecast. To our best knowledge, all of these subjects are nowadays more systematic in intelligent information processing theory and methods based on linguistic values.
