abstract = "This report is one of a set of technical supporting documents in the safety case, submitted to the FANC, in support of an application for a construction and operating licence for a near surface repository for category A waste at Dessel. It describes possible future climate evolutions and their consequences on the evolution and properties of the near field, geosphere and biosphere. Based on a literature review and discussions with climate experts, estimations of future climate changes are summarised for the near future (up to AD 2100) and the long term (within the next 10 000 years). Some outlook on the very long term (10 000 to 200 000 years) is also provided.",
