Abstract
The γ-ray emission rate of 109Cd can be measured by means of spectrometry with a NaI(Tl) well-type detector. The corrections from photoelectron escape, from Compton effect near the interface crystal-liner, from bremsstrahlung, produced during slowing-down in NaI(Tl) and by the conversion electrons, and from other minor effects have been calculated.
