    Abstract

For the safety assessment of the Boom clay formation as a host for the disposal of radioactive waste, the migration of the critical radionuclides is studied [1]. The migration of radionuclides in the Boom clay is described by a transport equation with the following main parameters [2]: the porosity accessible by diffusion η, the retardation factor R, the apparent dispersion constant D of the considered species and the Darcy velocity Vd.
