N2 - This report records arguments for selecting thermodynamic data as input to produce an internally consistent Thermochemical database (TDB) to be used in phenomenological and safety assessment studies for disposal of radioactive wastes in Belgium. Selected data are standard molal thermodynamic properties of species and output data are chemical reaction constants. For the current release, i.e., the release 2.0 there are 83 elements in the database. Data selection criteria, numerical values, and most importantly reasoning of data selections are documented.
