Abstract

Possible induction of chromosomal aberrations by domperidone was studied in vivo by a micronucleus test on mice and a dominant lethal test on both male and female mice. In vitro chromosomal damage was assessed on short-term cultures of human lymphocytes. All these tests produced negative findings and it is concluded that domperidone has no potential to induce chromosomal aberrations.
