Abstract

This deliverable is related to WP 1 (State-of-the-art and possibilities for a quantitative assessment of ageing of concrete SSC in NPPs), more specifically to task 3 (Update based on project results). The deliverable builds on the work of D1.1. that provides a state-of-the-art of ageing management approaches for reinforced concrete structures in nuclear power plants and of their possible ageing processes. That document is updated with information that is gained during the ACES project for the ageing processes studied in ACES, i.e., corrosion, alkaliaggregate and delayed ettringite formation, creep & shrinkage and radiation.
