    Abstract

The importance of iodine-132 for medical applications has been proved very often . In view of the short life of this isotope (2.4 h) it has to be kept under the form of its parent teIIurium-132 (77 h) wherefrom it can be easily separated by chromatography on aluminium. We propose two nomograms which enable the determination of the activity A of te I I urium-132 to be present, if for n days, and providing m separations per day, one needs either a daily activity of iodine-132 at least equal to a given activity a (nomogram 1), or every
day a certain activity of iodine-132 which adds up to a given total
    activity s (nomogram II).
