Abstract
The existence of a parallelism between RNAse activity and
RNA content has been observed In the shoot of Barley seedlings grown in various physiologicaI conditions, in the presence or absence of light. In such conditions, the RNA, protein and DNA contents may vary independently from each other.
The results are discussed with reference to possible translocation mechanisms.
