Abstract

The authors examine the production of atificial radioelements by neutron irradiation, in pile according to whether the chemical nature of the radioelement differs from or is identical to that of the irradiated target.
Reaction examples of productions are given for both cases, such as ¹³¹I, ⁹⁹Mo, ^99mTc, ⁵¹Cr.Purification of the preparations is also considered; the purification of ⁴⁵Ca and ⁸⁶Rb in particular is described.
