    Abstract

Since 1981 SCK•CEN measures on a monthly basis piezometric levels in the framework of various programmes that are all related to the hydrogeological characterisation of north-east Belgium. The network has gradually increased from the early eighties and comprises currently 46 sites with a total of about 150 piezometers. This report analyses the evolution of the piezometric levels. For the analysis of the spatial distribution of the piezometric levels complementary data obtained from the Flemish administration VMM has also been used. Detailed technical information on all piezometers of the regional piezometric network is given in a technical annex.
